Singularity Technology Is Going to Worlds!

After winning the First Place Inspire Award at the CT State Championship, Singularity Technology Will Advance to the FTC Worlds Competition in Detroit, Michigan in April!

After a long day at the FIRST Tech Challenge Connecticut State Championships, Team 7034 awaited the award ceremony with bated breath, hopeful for a chance at the Inspire Award. "I was literally biting my nails the whole time in anticipation," says Programming Team Captain Rishabh Raniwala. "I almost couldn't believe it when we won!"

The team was also in the second place Finalist Alliance, and used their full autonomous as well as stacking skills to help their alliance partners Hopkins Robotics Grey (Team 12377) and Hopkins Robotics Maroon (Team 13965). "[Winning the Inspire award] was very cool," said Build Team captain Navod Jayawardhane. "We've been waiting for this for a long time."

This April, the team will be heading to Detroit, Michigan, to compete in the FTC Worlds competition. Wish them luck!
